Water Colour feed

Watercolours are available either as moist colour in tubes, or dried in pans. In either format they are excellent for making quick sketches and capturing the colours, moods and atmosphere of a scene or place.

They are therefore the preferred medium of artists that paint "en plein aire" and are equally versatile either in the studio or out in the field, lending themselves to techniques such as pen and wash, mixed media etc. as well as the more traditional use of watercolours.

As with most painting mediums Watercolours are available in student quality (Cotman) and Artist's quality ranges.
